Middle-earth Center hosting signature competiton!

Hi there everyone!
Middle-earth Center is organising a signature contest, and we're asking all the artistic souls on the web and GRGN to join in the fun! The rules are simple and straight-forward to allow your creative juices to flow freely. All you need to do is create a Lord of the Rings themed graphic that is no larger than 400×120 pixels in size. Its the best way to find out what other think about your work!
As an added bonus, we can offer an exclusive BattleMat(TM) Gaming Mousepad to the winner. The winner and the runners-up will also get their signature featured on our font page.
Above all, this is the best chance to show off your skills and make some great Lord of the Rings related material. Looking for inspiration or don’t know where to start? Tiberium Cancelled

Well, as BTGN rises again as the GameRigs Gaming Network, it seems all of the games it was covering won't be following it.
On September 30, EA confirmed that Tiberium, the FPS set in the Command and Conquer universe, has been cancelled. GameSpot has the story:

On September 30, EA confirmed that Tiberium, the FPS set in the Command and Conquer universe, has been cancelled. GameSpot has the story:
"EA has suspended work on Tiberium effective immediately," corporate communications spokesperson Mariam Sughayer told GameSpot. "The game was not on track to meet the high quality standards set by the team and by the EA Games Label. A lower-quality game is not in the best interest of the consumers and would not succeed in this market." Since taking over in 2007, EA CEO John Riccitiello and EA Games president Frank Gibeau have said they are implementing a more strident quality-control system at EA's numerous internal studios.Read more at the link here.
